Comment: Our recent trip on The Dolly Steamboat was an unforgettable experience that our family will cherish for years to come! From the moment we boarded, we were greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made us feel welcomed and excited for the journey ahead.
The scenic cruise through the stunning landscapes of Canyon Lake was absolutely breathtaking. The views of the towering cliffs, lush vegetation, and sparkling water were nothing short of spectacular. We loved how the knowledgeable captain shared interesting facts about the area, making the experience both enjoyable and educational for our kids, ages 8 to 12.
Even the drive from Phoenix to Canyon Lake was a worthwhile adventure in itself! We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful views and scenic opportunities along the way. It was hard to believe we could find such stunning canyons so close to the city.
Overall, our experience on The Dolly Steamboat was a perfect family outing. It offered a unique perspective of the beautiful Arizona landscape while providing a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Comment: A wonderful steamboat tour and dinner. When you first look at the lake, you wonder. Where are we going for an hour and a 1/2? It’s so small. Don’t be fooled. The arms of the lake reach out to a total of 28 miles in circumference. The crew was wonderful and the food was quite good.

Comment: A wonderful Phoenix, Arizona immersion experience! The boat ride was truly enjoyable with spectacular views and scenery. The entire trip was narrated with great information, nature/history facts and anecdotes. The drive to the lake launch location was breathtaking. This was an awesome outing!

Comment: Driving to Canyon Lake was breathtaking. There were a lot of scenic drives and the last 8 mile was twisty, so drive slow.
It was a fun and informative boat ride experience for me and my family. We arrived 30 minutes before our schedule. There were two lines. One for the reservation and the other was for the walk ins. There was already a long line ahead of us. Once it was my turn, I only had to tell my last name and the staff gave me a numbered ticket. The first 20 customers were called. We got to sit at the upper floor. Food and drinks were located at the lower floor and cash only.
The captain was quite humorous and entertaining. We saw some bighorn sheep and hawks. It was an hour and a half boat ride you can relax. Downside was the AC on the upper deck was not working. There were fans but it was not a lot. Overall the family enjoyed it.

Comment: What a great trip. Stunning scenery, free ice cold water. Can purchase snacks, drinks and alcohol. Nice friendly crew. Very informative. You are encouraged to walk around. AC and restrooms onboard. Tickets purchased online.
