Comment: We had a good crossing on the 13th of July. Loading was very efficient and organized. All the staff of the loading crew were friendly and helpful. After going upstairs we were first on board so we got to look around crowd free and pick our seats. Seating area is good and comfortable seats but my only negative comment is that it’s so hot in there it’s uncomfortable. There was no ac in the main seating area with all the people is was unbearable. The restaurant was good and the lounge as well. All the staff were wonderful. All together we had a good crossing. Will be back again in August for our return trip.

Comment: Friendly, efficient staff got us loaded and unloaded in a jiffy. The new boat makes for a comfortable crossing.
No ladder or steps to the top bunks in our cabin that we could find. One has to be quite agile to get up there. Not recommended for anyone who has mobility issues.

Comment: We used this ferry from Sydney, Nova Scotia to Port aux Basques…about 7 hours each way. If you’re worried about using a Ferry, don’t be. You could almost refer to this as a mini cruise. People can even book cabins…but we didn’t and still had a lovely experience. Very comfortable seating, a bar, a restaurant, a mini Cafe, and outdoor seating and viewing options. If you have to be distracted, there are televisions and movies, and a gift shop. Friendly, clean…a wonderful way to get from here to there!

Comment: Amazed at the efficiency and organization of boarding and disembarking vehicles, from motorcycles, cars, rv’s and giant transport trucks. These folks are experts!
Lots of space to move around, and having a private dog-friendly cabin is more than worth the reasonable cost. Even received a doggy treat bag on board!
Food services and gift areas were very nice! Better than we anticipated!

Comment: We boarded Highlander from North Syndey to Newfoundland. The ride was smooth and comfort. We didn’t buy addition space onboard, but all was just fine. Surprise was cellphone signal was actually available throughout the journey. It was weak around one hour at the middle of the passing. Otherwise, the reception was acceptable.
