Comment: Spent the day at Osage State Fishing Lake. Wonderful, quiet place. Checked out the great camping spots. I will definitely be back to spend a few days camping. I fished for a little while but didn’t catch anything, it’s early April so I didn’t expect to. The toilets had toilet paper and were reasonably clean. I also found a few Morel mushrooms. Overall I loved this little spot and look forward to visiting again.

Comment: Incredibly lovely with large camping spots. We don’t fish, but this was one of the more idyllic camping locations we’ve found. There was some debris/trash left from prior guests and the bathrooms were a bit unsavory, but otherwise the whole area was truly delightful. We saw rabbits, herons, fireflies, and more!

Comment: Lake looked nice, water was clear. Fishing was very slow and didn’t catch much of any size only a 9″ crappie. Lots of litter and trees were all storing bobbers. A guy living in his vehicle was parked at the first spot we tried. Kind of sketchy!

Comment: I enjoy going to Osage Lake. It’s usually quiet and you can relax close to home. It has camping area’s that have no amenities. Fishing is hit or miss for crappies, bass, lots of catfish. Even a few perch
