Comment: Took the ferry from Fort Morgan to Dauphin Island. It was a pretty easy process to load up and get underway. The vehicles started arriving about 10 minutes prior to departure. We were there 30 minutes prior, to make sure we had a spot. They allowed about 28 vehicles on the trip. The boat is pretty fast and the views are beautiful. It was nice getting on the water and seeing the sights. The boat doesn’t have bathrooms or snacks. So make sure to plan ahead. Ride was about 45 mins, gate to gate.

Comment: Great way to go to Dauphin Island. We saw dolphins and a lot of seabirds. Good view of the bay. Only 28 spaces for cars : you have to arrive at least 30 mn before departure, but it gives you time to explore the area and visit the gift shop at Fort Morgan
