Comment: The gentleman running the ticket booth is outstanding. He’s friendly, fair (caught someone trying to cut in line), personable, yet professional. I wish I remembered his name but he deserves a raise. All staff were clear and friendly. Not my first time taking the ferry but always a fantastic ride with beautiful views.

Comment: Take the scenic drive to arrive at the Mill Bay Ferry terminal, easy access with limited parking. PortaPotty was a relief. Nice little shell beach to explore. Friendly staff, and a quick trip across to Brentwood Bay.

Comment: Great little ferry ride cuts travel time (if you don’t have a ferry sailing wait) and fuel costs if heading over to the Peninsula! Save about $10 by purchasing your tickets ahead of time at Thrifty Foods! Car and two passengers cost about $21.

Comment: A seasonal 25 minute BC small vehicle ferry route makes for a quick short cut from Mill Bay to Brentwood Bay. Drive on or walk on. Tickets can be purchased at Thrifty Foods in Mill Bay or when you drive on. A great way to travel across the inlet and avoid the drive over the Malahat. Highly recommend you take the time to enjoy this quick scenic boat trip across the water and enjoy the ocean breeze.
