Comment: Traveled to South Manitou on August 3 for a day trip. It was a perfect weather day. Ferry ride was about 1.5 hours and was full. My only request for change would be to leave the island back to Leland an hour later (5pm instead of 4pm during the summer months or leave an hour earlier in the morning at 9am instead of 10am). I just wanted one more hour to make it a perfect day to see everything without taking the “tour.” They have space up top to sit and covered space below. You can also hang out up front but no benches up there. There was a bathroom and beverage/snack service (Apple pay, CC, cash, etc). Service was great, Captain was great – overall, great experience, I would (and will) do it again someday! I recommend it!
