Comment: Very beautiful ferry habour at night with all the lights. Good for a relaxing long stroll after dinner. But do put on some insect repellent. Good place to view the light show.

Comment: Worth noted that the ferry ride time stated on your ticket is flexible. You may board the ferry an hour earlier than your booked time if you arrive at the ferry terminal early.

A gentle reminder that spending an extended period on your phone while on the ferry may cause discomfort due to the rough open sea. The sea tends to be calm during the first 10 minutes of the journey, but it can become choppy as the ferry moves further away from the shore.

Additionally, if you are traveling with large luggage, please be aware that you will need to carry it up and down at the port, as there are no lifts available.

The travel time to the pier is approximately 50 minutes.

Comment: It is well managed, with a clear directory and clean facilities. The staff here are cool but helpful.

Comment: If you’re in Hong Kong and you’re planning a trip to Macau, then the ferry is the best option as it’s quick and easy. You can even take the MTR to come here and just get off at the Sheung Wan station. Tickets are available at the 3rd level.

Comment: Frankly, the experience of travelling on the ferry for 1 hour to and 1 hour fro wasn’t the best.

The sea was choppy and so the ride wasn’t as smooth. Definitely not for people who suffer from seasickness…
God forbids you sit next to someone who puked.

The ferry isn’t huge looking on the outside but on the inside, it looks fine.
You leave your bulky luggage at the front or back of the ferry cabin before taking your seats.

You’re able to bring own food and drinks on board so you can have your meal or snack during the 1 hour ride.

The tickets bought were not cheap at 175 HKD. Octopus cards not accepted as payment when buying tickets but you may pay with credit cards.

After buying tickets, seats will be assigned at the boarding gate area. Can be quite chaotic from Hong Kong to Macau in the morning, but coming back to Hong Kong was fine in the evening.
