Comment: Very nice place. Clean restrooms, nice picnic areas. There are a few ball fields and a play area with nice clean playground equipment. Great place for a little bite to eat and relax. No food available on site, so bring that with. There are grills available also.

Comment: All river access is closed and when entering I didn’t see the sign nor was I told. The young man at the booth refused to return my money. I went into the office and complained and she got my daily park pass money back.

Comment: This is a great starting spot to put in for your adventure whether it’s a kayak, tube, canoe, or airboat. A very clean area with restrooms and safe vehicle parking. That being said, if you’re getting out here in your kayak, tube, or canoe you need to be careful that you don’t miss the ramp. The ramp is angled toward downstream. Do your research and make sure to take notes if you decide to get out at this spot. You’re basically doing a u-turn here and the water is faster and deep enough you can’t just hop out and walk.

Comment: Beautiful view of the river! I go there not as often as I used to. It’s a good place to hangout out and relax after a long day, totally makes it worth my while! And there is a park there with a volleyball court if that interests you! I my self like to sit by the water and watch it flow!
