Comment: 23 years ago, I used to take this ferry every day back and forth from Vermont to New York. I still love it! As of 9/28/24, it costs $22. for a car/truck with a driver and 1 passenger. Check their website for the current schedules. During the day light hour, it usually runs every 1/2 hour one the hour and 1/2 hour. In the evenings, it’s runs only every hour. Also, during the summer, it runs until 11ish. In the fall, it runs till until 8ish, depending on what side of the lake you’re coming from. I recommend checking their website for the current schedule. Most of the gas stations in VT have a free flyer you can grab, and it will tell you everything you need to know. FYI, their are no gas station near this ferry. Especially on the NY side. Make sure you gas up your vehicles.

Comment: Visited this spot just for a boat ride across Lake Champlain. The views were beautiful from the small ferry. It holds about 20 cars or so and if you want to ride across without a car that is also as option. I was able to bring my dog as well. I recommend getting their early before 10 am since It got really busy after our ride across.

On a nice sunny day, a very refreshing boat ride. I enjoyed every minute of it. Then on the NY side, you can enjoy a great view and good meal at resturant name OLD DOCK HOUSE RESTURANT.
