Comment: If you happen to be one of the cars in the cery first row, be prepared to get wet…lol. We got splashed good a few times, leaving a trail of salt water all down the passenger side of our rig. Duho! And the L’etete can be dicey going up, it’s not contrete, just loose rock. We made it though. Totally glad we did the 2 ferry shuttle from Lubec vs. driving around.

Comment: Have been taking this ferry every summer my entire life and I’m OLD. Always efficient and friendly. If you leave your window down, you’ll get a visit. Best thing this summer? The deck attendant with flash cards as we were pulling off. “Have a great day” “you’re awesome” stuff like that. Come on! Xo

Comment: We recently took a drive to Deer Island, I’m not sure which Ferry we had but the gentleman on the ferry was so nice and friendly, we’ve been on a few ferries and I have never encountered someone so nice. On the way to the island he waved and said have a great drive on the island, and on the way back he asked how our day was! This is true hospitality, made you feel like customer service was his priority along with the safety of his passengers, and he should be commended!
Wish I had gotten his name!
