Comment: If it’s open yay. Doesn’t seem to make sense, a ferry for no destination on either side and there isn’t “wealthy” people or fire/police/rescue. Seems like a single lane bridge would be less upkeep, cheaper, and open, minimally.

Comment: Stopped by but the ferry wasn’t running that day, still worth the trip with beautiful views and plenty of benches to grab tab a bite or just meditate with the water and wildlife to take in.

Comment: Every time ive needed to use it, ive been able to get on immediately. Caution during low tide (if you own a car) youre DEFINITELY scraping atleast the guard both getting on, and off. Also ive also never rode with more than 2 vehicles at a time ( just because its never that busy all at once), but i believe that it can hold 4 vehicles, just based on the truck with the handmade wooden trailer i was riding next to today. However, his trailer was no longer than the dining room table he was carrying. But either way as I stated ive never seen it busy or have had to even wait in line, so the quantity shouldnt be much of a concern. If you dont want to use the ferry, yes, you can still drive yourself to the same destination that the ferry takes you by just going around. Have fun!

Comment: Great place to take the family, especially if you have kids. All aboard, on the “Tina Fallon.” A short ride that makes you feel like your part of a Mark Twain novel. Drive slow (2 mph) when boarding with vehicle – helps prevent scraping of the bottom of your vehicle. And also, the ferry ride is free.

Comment: The Woodland Ferry is a fun and convinent way of travel from Seaford to Laurel. I was out geocaching when I discovered this gem of the DELDOT. Thanks for the ride over the river!
