Comment: Took the ferry to Plattsburgh at 14:10 and then returned at 18:11 back to Vermont(11/24/2023). By now, I am used to very little customer service but the Lake Champlain Transportation Company takes the cake. I get it, it’s a non-stop operation to take people, their vehicles, and whatnot to and from NY/VT. That said, for 18 dollars each way, a thank you would go a very long ways. Both women who worked the booths were next level rude…worth driving around next time, rude. If your life is that miserable, do something else that doesn’t require you to talk with and to humans!! Do better, Lake Champlain Trans!

Comment: We are staying on the island and came from Maryland up through NY. We had our pop up and dog with us as we crossed into VT on the ferry. It was simple and a fun way to get to the island. I would recommend it to anyone.

Comment: Really pleased with their service, even though I still find it a little pricey just for the short distance it covers. That place gets busy at times, and the lines get very long, but the ground crew is quick and efficient.

Comment: Took a trip with my son to see UVM and Champlain College. The hotels in Burlington VT were outrageously expensive, so we stayed in Plattsburgh NY where they were way more reasonable and took the ferry over. Quick and convenient, they’ve got this thing down! I highly recommend using them to save time driving around the lake!

Comment: Super friendly staff, efficient and on time service. We took the ferry as a shortcut on our road trip and really enjoyed the views! A beautiful and relaxing few minutes to enjoy the lake. We thought the fare was reasonable and like that we were able to stay in the car or walk around during the ride.
