Comment: Quick, easy, very reasonably priced! No nonsense or messing around! Pull up, present ticket that you buy from the window, drive on, sail. You can sit in your vehicle for the ride or get out and go up to a couple upper decks on the ferry’s bench seating.

Comment: The ferry line is very efficient at what they do and I feel like the price is pretty good for a round trip including taking your vehicle over to the island. The crew gets everyone on the ferry quickly and lines everything up very well. The ferry will take people, bikes, scooters, motorcycles and cars so whatever your method of traveling when you reach the island they have you covered. A good experience overall and not long wait times at all when we went.

Comment: Sitting in the top was SO FUN!! I’d recommend the ferry ride even if you don’t want to go to Washington island!! Nice sightseeing on the way there!! I’d recommend looking at the AP Nicholas Shipwreck and adjoining abandoned lighthouse on the small island while you’re on it!

Comment: Very busy but they kept everyone moving smoothly. 5 ferries running and per staff they each had 7 trips so far and day was not done.

Comment: It’s one of my favorite ferries in the state of Wisconsin. It’s probably not the longest ride but really enjoyable and relaxing while you get to your destination either the island or the mainland.
