Comment: What a wonderful experience crossing the Mississippi river from Grafton, IL to St. Charles County, MO using the Grafton Ferry. It cost’s $9 dollars to cross one way, and its CASH only. The crossing is very scenic. It has become our annual tradition to travel from St. Louis to Alton, then to Grafton. Then take the Grafton Ferry across the river to St. Charles and then to St. Louis. Simply a wonderful experience.
