Comment: This was my first trip to Nantucket. I booked my tickets online. I opted for the fast ferry. The website offers updated so you can check the status of the departure times and the parking lots that are open. For someone who likes to plan ahead, this was a great service! The staff was very helpful and reassuring when I told them I was a first-timer! There are clean bathrooms in the terminal as you wait for your departure. The boat itself had a lot of seating to choose from, including tables, so you can bring a picnic lunch or snacks. There is a bar where you can purchase drinks, including alcoholic beverages. It was a great trip both to and from Nantucket!

Comment: All I can say is book ahead before the busy season, make sure to arrive on time or you’ll have to wait for 2+ hours before the next ship.
Clean bathrooms, good amenities available on the ship for food and snacks.
Surprisingly calm ride.

Comment: Less expensive than the Hy Line ferry to Nantucket. Clean boat. Snacks and drinks available. The draft beer was cold!!! Unless you want to fork out double the price for the fast ferry, the regular ferry is perfectly nice. Recommended! Parking can be had nearby for about $20 per day.

Comment: Easy to find. Check-in was fast and effortless. We took our car on board the ferry. There were people to guide us onto the ferry and with parking. Space was tight; once parked, it was like a Ballerina dance to get out of the car. You’re squeezing past other cars to get upstairs to the passenger deck. Some people are not cognizant when passing or squeezing between the cars and will often times bang the backpacks against the car, so it’s a good idea to fold your mirrors in. Once on the passenger deck, you will find an assortment of food and beer. We had coffee, hot chocolate, and a salad box (cut-up apples with peanut butter, a boiled egg). The coffee tasted like burnt dish water. Everything else was fine. The ferry is very clean and jas lots of seating and outlets, so you’re able to charge your phone, laptops. There is also seating outside. Overall, it was an okay experience. A mask is required onboard the ferry.
