Comment: It was 170 pesos each way for a boat ride to/from Isla de Mexcaltitlan (cost is per boat, not passenger). The ferry for the locals only runs a few times a day, and is much cheaper. Having said that, our ride was without issue. There was no parking fee or attendant on duty when we parked to take the boat.

Comment: A small pier that takes you to the Island of Mexcaltitan.
The service at the pier is basic, they take you by motor boat to the island to tour the place and eat something delicious.
It is recommended to go to eat at the Restaurant across the river, in front of the Island.
It’s very, very hot.
Wear comfortable and cool clothing.

Comment: A small pier that has very basic services for those who want to get to the Island of Mexcaltitán, one of the magical towns of Nayarit.
Very conveniently, it has several parking spaces, as well as toilets and on the same pier, you can buy water and some snacks. The people who attend both the parking lot and the pier, and of course the boats, are extremely friendly and very good people. This is a must-see place (literally) if we want to visit Mexcaltitán

Comment: Prices are not standardized. They tell you that the price is for a round trip, from 1 to 5 passengers. Then they charge you what they want and when you ask they tell you that it is per section or per person. There is nothing on the island but a few restaurants. It’s just in case you’re on the right path and want to have some magic town magnet.

Comment: A very nice experience to travel by boat through the mangroves to get to the island. The place is rich in biodiversity and has a lot of potential and history which is not used.
