Comment: I am excited to have the White Haven ferry open again! I see that the no smoking sign has been posted, I just hope that the county will address this issue with a few of the ferry operators that I have seen, in the past, smoking while transporting. If I am not mistaken, smoking on the ferry is a Coast Guard regulation, as a matter of fact I know that it is. Please go that extra mile and discipline those that are employed by the county who continue to smoke on the ferry as it is a hazard to the lives of anyone using the ferry service. I have also been witnessed to some of the operators running that ferry full throttle, I wish I knew the name of the gentleman who operates the ferry, it seems on and every other week basis, as he operates the ferry in a responsible manner and always has a smile on his face and a wave as riders come on to the ferry.

Comment: Very pretty Old fashioned river ferry, Captain even had milk bones for our Furry Kid, Sheamus the Lab:). Eastern Shore treasure worth visiting just because.

Comment: This ferry was super awesome. I’ve never seen anything like it. And it’s FREE!! Pull right up and drive right on. Enjoy the ride. My daughter in the back of the van says half way through our journey .. “WE ARE ON A BOAT!!” Well done and what a super neat experience. Thanks for the lift!
