Comment: Only wants to serve locals. Very rude staff on the gate house who were unhelpful. As a visitor from the UK, with a ticket to travel, it felt very much like they only want locals. I saw a black family being asked not to travel and the ferry left without them, even though they’d obviously packed for a day out at the beach. The beach itself is nice, with a nice little shop, but it felt like we didn’t belong as we’re weren’t living locally.

Comment: No fuss, no muss. Roll right on, enjoy the ride and roll right off. The crew were courteous, easy-going and helpful.

Comment: Should clearly mark that this attraction is for residents ONLY! Rude attendant, crazy discrimination against non-residents. Would NOT recommend unless you bought a pass for this attraction in advance.
Shoutout to the crew people though. They were actually nice and helped us figure out other places to visit in Greenwich.

Comment: My family was visiting from out of town and we were looking forward to participating in the Cruise to Nowhere. As instructed on their website, we arrived at the Arch Street ferry dock to purchase our tickets the morning of the cruise. Tickets had gone on sale at 10:00 a.m. and we arrived at 10:15. Unfortunately, tickets were already sold out but the lady at the booth was incredibly cranky and rude in telling us so.

Comment: Only serves town residents on the weekend, Greenwich must protect its white sand beaches.
