Comment: Hardy Boat Cruises Puffin Watch to Eastern Egg Rock Island was fun! The boat is smaller so it can get closer to the island for better viewing of the Puffins and many other sea birds. Puffins, Razorbills, Laughing Gulls, Terns and so many more! They spend about 30 minutes at the island.

Comment: Decades ago we used this service for a day-trip to see the remarkable character of tiny yet varied Monhegan Island. Perhaps properly we met no local residents since we aimed to get a sense of the isolated natural condition of this hunk of earth’s rock protruding from the sea. Powerful, visceral and forever memorable!

Comment: Have used Hardy Boat for years for the commute to Monhegan. The staff are always fantastic and the boat always well piloted. Only fault is that between ticket and parking it’s now the most expensive option for making a trip out to the island.
