Comment: Update**** While posted on the website that there was scheduled maintenance/inspections 11/4/22 at 9am, for some reason they did not start until 10 am!! At 10:38 we were finally toldt it would take another 30-35 minutes before the ferry would begin running.
Communication is helpful. The more detailed and timely the better!!

Comment: Whoever the cop was sitting there in the shade parked, was very rude and not very helpful. I was just going to drop someone off and he told me I couldn’t turn that way. He said to go the other way through a parking lot. My passenger got out and walked to the ferry. There could be a way better world where cops actually protect and serve the people. I see ppso always speeding down highway 23 no lights on just driving fast using tax payer dollars to fill up their gas tank. I really wish I could trust the police that we pay for. Dude had a real nasty attitude.

Comment: Out of Parish vehicles are now REQUIRED to pay $2 ferry fee per way. No change given and cash only. If you are a resident of the parish, show your license and you rode FREE. wait times aren’t bad either.

Comment: I was told it cost $5 to cross when it only cost $1 to cross. Was scanned. I didn’t know I have not been on it save they started changed and I was scared to say anything.

Comment: Ok
This ferry boat actually cut my drive time by 45 minutes.
Plus….the St. Claude roadway is torn up to the point of potholes the size of golf carts…..
I seen the repair trucks at the store…..
But I guess they were waiting until the holes got bigger….
