Comment: Great ride on Jenny Lake to hike to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point. No wait in the afternoon. Captain Tommy was great! Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Took pictures of us, which I appreciated. Smooth, comfortable ride. On our return trip, again no wait as the boat was there. Captain Justin was friendly and knowledgeable. A boat passenger noticed a cow moose along the river bank, and Justin stopped so we could get pictures.

Comment: I’ll admit to being a little more than scared if I know there is definitely a bear in the area, but the lady selling the tickets was so reassuring and then the boat driver who gave us a short safety briefing as we came in across the lake on the shuttle service made me feel reassured! THERE WAS A BEAR! And it was sooooo close to us (we both had bear spray) but what a privileged to see. Also highly recommend going by the Moose Pond – we saw 6! We took the shuttle across and walked the 2.5miles back on the south side of the lake.

Comment: Taking a boat ride with Jenny Lake Boating is a nice way to shave off a couple of miles to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point.

Boat rides can be taken roundtrip or one-way. If you took the Jenny Lake loop trail on the way to Inspiration Point and want to take the boat on the way back, please do so without hesitation and let them know. You can purchase the ticket when you get off the boat at the East Dock.

Keep in mind that the boats only run until 4:00 PM (in Winter) and 7:00 PM (in Summer). Although they are generous enough to not leave anyone who reaches the dock by that time, it’s better to plan and reach the dock in advance. If you miss, you can still come back by taking the Jenny Lake loop trail.

Comment: What an absolute gem! Do take the Jenny Lake scenic cruise if you come to the Tetons. Hopefully you’ll get Mike as your captain. Head was fantastic in knowledge and quick with a joke.

Comment: Jenny Lake Boating was amazing. Martin from AZ was our boat Captain, safety brief was outstanding, as well as history of jenny lake and assisting in finding the right trail. Cascade Canyon was amazing. The girl upfront in the line was also very friendly and had a great conversation. They were very kind to my family, also asked about military status, very thoughtful and respectful to those who have served our nation. This is why there is nothing like the Grand Tetons! You gotta see jenny lake and experience the great service jenny lake boating provides to the general public.
