Comment: Ferry employees are very helpful and friendly. However, it would be helpful if the parish would notify the public in the Belle Chasse area when the ferry is not in operation in advance. A 25 mile ride turns into a 75 hour ride .

Comment: Loved taking this ferry. We had drove the west side of river to Venice and caught the ferry to return via east side. Ferry was running once an hour and we barely made it but they let us on. It’s small but ride across river is less than 5 minutes.

Comment: Everything went smooth. We had a wait a few minutes because the ferry has to go back and forth but it saved a huge amount of time through new Orleans traffic. The price is 1 dollar for cars to go through. The staff will wave you onto the boat and direct you where to park.
