Comment: The lake itself is nice but the garbage is terrible on the other side where there are no trash cans. I’ve seen used condoms and used syringes amongst the trash. Don’t take your kids here unless you want them to contract HIV

Comment: Love, love, love this place. It is so peaceful. A beautiful lake. I love that there is landings to sit on to fish off. I love everytime I go out there is someone from the state, or KU doing a fishery study. I love that there is primative campsites. There is no charge for camping. My only complaint is that the restrooms are disgusting. I understand they are outhouses but… they need to be powered washed down.

Comment: Nice peaceful lake, good for fishing! You can bring your own boat, kayak etc. This place has couple of benches so good for picnic. There’s a trail at a height on the north end of the lake connecting east and west shores. Bring water shoes if you’re planning to go into water as the rocks are pointy along the shores. Dog friendly too!

Comment: Always very nice and right outside of Baldwin. The kids love to go toss a pole in and look for rocks and shells.
