Comment: We stayed one night on our travel back home. It’s a state of Idaho RV camping park. Well maintained. You can call make reservations in advance. Drive-in like we did, but you can only stay for one night.

Comment: Lots of history here with a great park. Cabins are rustic, but I hope to come back and stay in one. Be sure to cross the river to see the islands from the other side. It makes a huge difference in the experience of the place. Just a quick hour drive east of Boise.

Comment: Just a one night stay on a long RV trip headed North. The small town of Glenns Ferry has a gas station, small market for essentials and a Napa auto parts store though they close at 5 daily. The Park itself is very shady, plenty of space between sites, centrally located shower/bath house and several dump stations; sites have water and electric only. The Park advertises an overnight fee of $36 for a site but for some reason we paid $47. I mention that solely to point out you pass two Y Knot RV Parks, managed by the Y Knot Winery and you pay $45 for a full hookup. If I returned, I would stay at the Winery and ask to a site in the older section simply because that section had more shade trees.
There is a walking path from the Park to the Winery. We enjoyed wine tasting and a nice dinner and they were very accommodating as I had my Service Dog with me. Restaurant deserves 5 Stars, the Park only 4 but that’s solely due to the lack of sewer at the sites.

Comment: Great campground. Quiet (no road noise) and walking distance to the Snake River. This is where the Oregon Trail crosses the Riverhead, andbthe path up the other bank is still visible. There is also a rebuilt ferry boat from a commemoration some years ago.

Comment: Perfect night out. Campground about half full. Not a sound but nature…. Leaves falling. Easy access.
