Comment: Fun boat trip. I will readily admit I went to stand on the deck and watch the shore, with little hope of finding something in Surry, population 206 as of 2022…… Mostly, farmland, and you can have a nice drive-through to see some interesting plantations and homes.
The ride is well worth it, and I suggest getting out of your car and looking from both the second story and the deck rail. It’s time as the only cost, and if you enjoy looking at your surroundings, this will definitely fit the bill.
Only lasts about 20 minutes, and all ages should just look at shore and water with the respect this boat ride deserves.

Comment: Great fast paced ferry. We didn’t have to wait to long to board which was nice. Everyone working is nice and friendly. We rode over from Williamsburg to Surry just to ride the ferry but actually found some really nice places to visit inn Surry like bacons castle. Would recommend the ride over from Williamsburg to visit Surry

Comment: The kids always love this ride. We went a couple of weeks ago and there are Osprey nests by both docks so you can see the Osprey and their babies. Not a long ride but still a great free outing/experience!
