Comment: Fantastic Place, great, friendly people who welcome you with open arms. I always feel I belong. The baddest part about this place at the end of visiting is saying goodbye. These people are genuine, kind-hearted, and respectful, not to many people left who take time to help. All it takes is for you to be kind to them, and they’ll treat you well. Everything is perfect here. No changes needed very satisfied, and keep up the great work. New Tradition for us Lord willing every year. Thank you so much everyone, working here.

Comment: We went for a Dark sky event that got cancelled because of a snow storm. We still had a blast. We love the trading post. We like the little cabins. They are always well stocked with any pots, pans or supplies you need and they are clean. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the bed. They are thin and can be difficult to get comfortable on. Even so we will absolutely be returning.

Comment: We come every year for the Nebraska Star Party! The cabins are the perfect compromise to enjoy some of the darkest skies in the country while having some true comfort. If you’re coming to Merritt and need a place to stay, stop and see the Bauers!

Comment: Been coming up here for more years than I can count. Cabins are clean and basic. They fit the experience of what Merritt Lake is about.

Comment: We booked a cabin over the Fourth of July because it’s the only place within 30 miles of Merritt Dam. The old boy who owns it is a complete jerk. The only reason this fool is in business is because no one else is around. 10 out of 10 highly don’t recommend
