Comment: Great FREE trip to take if you’re in the Jamestown area. If you have kids this is a very fun 30-40 minute (15-20 mins both way trip) ferry ride. They can get out of the car and go up on the observation deck and peer out across the river at the Jamestowne settlement. I recommend doing the ferry ride before going to Jamestown and spying out every from the river before going and walking amongst all the historical stuff Jamestown has to offer.
