Comment: This was a neat experience! Decided to take this route back from visiting garden of the gods. It was surprisingly quick and very cool that it’s still free! Wish we could have gotten out to take some pictures but the barge was full and not a lot of room and didn’t want to include other people in the pictures. Got to see a storm roll through

Comment: This was definitely a experience. Never had a veichel on a boat. But to know you can get out and enjoy a ride across the river for free was pretty cool. And to see all the asin carp jump as their getting ready to doc mmm that be good bow fishing. Thank you Loni jo for giving us a safe ride across and back.

Comment: So glad the ferry is up and running again! We went herping with friends looking for steamline salamanders at Mantle Rock. We saw some babies but no adult ones. Took the ferry back to Illinois and enjoyed the sceneries along the way.
