Comment: On a day trip the old town with it’s one-way system, cobbled streets, cafes and shops is a must. As a step back in time it retains all of its historic buildings, ramparts and character. After that, a trip to La Madeleine shopping centre to get those last minute fresh baguettes and croissants and any other shopping before returning to ferry. If weather is bad either the Micro Zoo which is built into the ramparts or the Grand Aquarium 10minutes away from the port is a great place to go to especially if you have children.
