Comment: Signs and timetable said the next ferry would leave at 13:40, it instead left about 20 minutes later, and was completely full before we could get on. This was after paying over 100 euro’s for our ticket, so there was no choice other than waiting, which took about 45 minutes to an hour. We could have chosen a different route, but the time table and Google maps suggested we’d save travel time. This is due to the circumstances no longer the case for us.
Aboard are some nice amenities, such as a starbucks, a border shop, several restaurants and a small playground for the littlest ones (kids above 3 y/o wouldn’t enjoy themselves). Bathrooms could be cleaner. Still not really your moneys worth, but the amenities are appreciated. View of the sea is quite nice. The ferry takes you to Germany in about 45 minutes.

Comment: Buy the ferryticket online and no hassle at the gates. Use the barcode on your phone, wait for the printout with the correct line. Love those ferries.

Comment: Expensive shortcut avoiding driving down through Denmark into Germany with 45 mins ferry saving around 100 miles plus of driving. Easy on, easy off and pleasant, if short trip. They are building a tunnel but, it won’t be ready for a few years yet as work has just started!

Comment: The guys directing us were vague and blamed the drivers for not understanding. They gave a sign to continue while standing in front of 4 lanes of traffic.
We paid over a hundred euro but our boat still had a 30 minute delay (the boats go every 30 minutes).
