Comment: Great service, it is not a 5 star cruise but it was on time, clean, continue service to Dover from France, I would take it again, Didn’t have much to eat or drink as I brought my own but my friend had the Buffett and it look decent, French product is normally good and this looked more like French service, you can pay in Euros or Pounds and they have pretty much what you expect from a 1.5 hour ferry service. Arrival was little confusing wish they had customs on the departure side so you don’t have to stop on your way out for traffic reasons. Overall good experience. Tip, try the VIP experience, seems a better deal once there.

Comment: Stayed in a campervan overnight outside the terminal with no issues, although it did feel as though we were “sneaking in” to the toilet through a side door. Unfortunately the ferry we took had very limited outside space as a huge area was cordoned off with no explanation despite conditions being calm.

Comment: Ridiculous amount of time spent queuing (c.2hrs) to get through car ferry check-in, and passport controls in Calais, cutting it very fine with our alloted time of departure and only just made it with minutes to spare. Boat jouney back was very relaxing and most comfortable in the Premium Lounge, excellent food and drinks service. Nice to be able to get out and about on the open deck to stretch your legs and take in the view. The journey time on the ferry doesn’t compare with the speed of crossing the channel via the tunnel but, would book again when time not of the essence.

Comment: Nice trip. Perfect place for people with dogs. The PET LOUNGE – 6£, inside and outside. You can take free coffee, water, coca cola. Nice comfortable large room with huge wives on sea. Relaxing couches for all family and your dog. Outside on the board nice too. Everything You need for your dog.

Comment: Well-organized organization, everything clearly indicated how and what to do. Much of what needs to be arranged can be done online in advance.
Check-in is smooth, as is bringing a pet (dog) when everything is in order.

I had a good experience with DFDS Calais.
