Comment: This is such an awesome place. I love the industrial style warehouse. This old ship manufacture was beautifully repurposed into artists studios who had to built the studios themselves. Perfect for drawing, cultural events, workshops. Must visit!

Comment: Amazing method of transportation when there isn’t any other convenient way to get across the canal. You can take both bikes and single person cars on the ferry, and it’s free, making it a great way to get across.

Comment: This place is really a blessing for everyone. From here you can take a free ferry to Amsterdam Centraal and take the train or the bus. The journey takes 10 minutes and every 10 minutes there is a ferry. The ferry can take 250 person per journey. Also, you can take your bike and scooter on. Cars are not allowed.

Comment: You can take a free ferry to the south part of Amsterdam (next to the railway station). The ride takes between 10 and 15 minutes. There are around 10 chairs inside the ferry, but most people just stand (many people have bicycles with them). You can either sit/stand inside (less wind), or stay outside and enjoy the view.

Ferries go every 15 minutes (or every half an hour in the evening).

At the moment (July 2020), you are obligated to wear a face mask while on ferry, due to corona restrictions.

Comment: review of the port of Amsterdam boat tour. it’s 2hrs15 through the different areas that make the port but also explaining the history behind. an emphasis on the Energetic Transformation of the Port is very interesting.
