Comment: Just beyond the train station and down the hill you find Moss Ferry Port. We went to a manned booth and the young man there was very helpful. We paid 634 kroner in cash (£44 to £45)(motorhome) for our ticket to Horton and the trip was around 30 minutes. A few got out of their vehicles to visit the upper deck but most stayed in their vehicles. We sailed on the 13:00 hours Sunday sailing and hardly noticed any waves. Perfect.

Comment: Didn’t have to wait for long and there was possibility to pay by card and it went fast without any problems, I recommend though to get Autopass as it’s faster and cheaper way to pay and pass

Comment: Not happy, despite being signed up with Autopass, they would not accept our membership because they’re ‘a commercial ferry’ ??? So we had to pay double what we should have.
We then nearly got hit by a car that overtook us at speed after the toll booths to get on the next ferry. Obviously a mate of the staff, they let them onto the next boat & flagged us down to wait for the ferry after?? Despite there being loads of room on the ferry.
On the ferry we took, which was not full, they parked a motorhome next to us, which meant we couldn’t get out of the drivers door.

Comment: Ferry goes quite often & easy to access. Everything goes smooth. Restaurant onboard with totally ok restrooms. Even for dogs… Mostly a lot of seats free but you can stay in the car as well. Trip to Horten is 30 minutes.
