Comment: During my morningwalk I decided to visit “Het Steen”; a monument that just got renovated and reopened for the public, and to go on discovery
I like the way it has been renovated with respect for the color of the stones outside; the optimal use on the roofs for beautiful and panoramic views from different corners and a terrace to sit, drink and eat something outside, with view on the river and the cruise ships laying in the city harbour at the new terminal
“Het Steen” got decorated in a very thoughtful way.
It combines a very peaceful feeling with highly technological tools that allow you to discover the history of the city; the best, the most beautiful and the most interesting places in Antwerp, for every type of visitor

Comment: Drama… The museum consists only of photos, screens and projectors. The only part that has not been renovated is the gate, which is not worth entering. It is very commercial and not worth visiting. Inside you are paying for something you won’t even see in real life, it’s just photos! The only advantage is the toilet, but you have to ask for the code in the information part.
I don’t recommend going there, it’s worth seeing the surroundings for free, but not inside!
