Comment: Mandatory tour when in Oslo. Take the B1 ferry line and stop at all the main nearby islands… and best of all, you pay the same price as normal public transport.

Comment: Aker Brygge is one of the liveliest areas in Oslo and a must visit. It features plenty of cafes and restaurants, the national museum and the Nobel Peace Center. It is a walking distance away from Oslo’s main shopping street Karl Johans Gate, as well as from various landmarks such as Akershus Fortress and the city hall. Aker Brygge is also where the ferries to Oslo’s archipelago depart from, which makes for a great daytrip.

It offers a variety of cafes and restaurants, as well as attractions like the National Museum and the Nobel Peace Center. The B1 ferry line, included in the Zone 1 ticket, allows you to explore every island. As an added tip, stay on board for a relaxing one-hour boat trip around all the islands—it’s enjoyable even in the winter!

Comment: We took the Museum Ferry over to Fram Museum and it was easy, fast, and a beautiful trip – what more can you ask for. You can buy tickets ahead or on board, and try to get in early so you can get a seat in the back which is the perfect spot for pictures of Oslo fjord. Total trip was about 15mins.
