Comment: This is where HAL parked the ship. Prior to the cruise, after extensive research I discovered that HAL was parking cruise ships up to 3 hours away in years past. And there are a dozen possible slips in this harbour to park as well, making a “walk in to town” questionable. So we booked a shore excursion. Our excursion went very nicely, seeing all highlights, however at one point, during a lunch hour (on-own), we ran into a pair of guests from the ship who we had previously met on deck. We found them at the Sortorget (Town Square), and they had walked. They said it took them 1 hour to walk from the ship to this location. FYI.

Comment: Good terminal with a great ferry link to the vasa and abba museums. Hop on, hop off buses and boats also available very close by.
