Comment: The departure time for our ferry was 09:45. We arrived at 09:05, the staff said the boarding gate was closed.
That’s fine, we purchased another tickets, the new departure time was 11:15.
And here comes the funny story, the boarding gate was opened at 10:45, which is 30 minutes before the departure time.
The whole thing makes no sense at all.
Whether you can on board your ferry depends on “the arrival time of police”. For our 09:45 ferry, the gate closed because the staff and police saw nobody coming in.

Comment: The ferry between Algeciras and Tangier is a great experience. The trip is scenic and pleasant. I made this a final destination on my around the world trip. If you can get to this area, you must do this trip.

Comment: Boarding place for ferries to Ceuta. Although your online ticket or other info you might find online mentions to arrive two hours or 90 min before boarding, don’t let that scare you. Doors to preboarding only open like 30 min before departure, and you can make it if you arrive 40 min before, tops. We boarded the ferry itself maybe 15 min before scheduled departure, without any issues. Both ferries, to Ceuta and back, arrived od time (January of ‘24).

Comment: Terrible experience, they were not understandable and flexible to our group. The woman wasn’t understanding that we were a group of students on a trip, and she wasn’t willing to do the discount because her boss wasn’t there and it was Sunday and she couldn’t (wouldn’t) call him.

Comment: Our discount was canceled simply due to the fact that the woman refused to ask the boss for permission to apply a promotion simply because it was Sunday, 50 people disappointed because someone refused to send a message on Sunday. Pathetic
