Comment: Yurt 01 has an amazing location, right in front of the lake and within walking distance of The Clove. The yurt itself has a lovely ambiance, especially in the evening when the lights around the yurt and patio create a beautiful atmosphere. They also provide a barbecue area, which is a nice touch. The only downsides were the numerous webs both inside and outside the yurt, and the thin blanket provided so I recommend bringing your own. Although there’s a heating system, I prefer not to use it as it dries out the air. Overall, it’s a great place to stay and definitely has a vacation vibe.

Comment: My family and I stayed in one of the cabins over the last month. There were a few issues that we had. The cabins was well maintained ans very clean.
There is nothing for kids to do during the stay. With how much this place cost it would be nice if there was a swing set or something.
The Front office had a younger heavyer set female working who was very rude and seem like I was wasting her time when I was checking in.
We ate at the Cove during our stay a few time. The food was hit or miss. Some of the staff was not friendly. You could hear the manger being very disrespectful towards his staff and the place was very drity.
Had a few issues that we had to call the after hour line for help and two workers came and fixed the issues.

Comment: We asked for a handicapped accessible cabin. Were told there was a ramp and a bathroom on each floor. There was no ramp and bathrooms were only on the main level. There were no grab bars in the bathrooms or on the stairs. The stairs to the lower level had no door or gate, which would be very dangerous with small children. When we checked out they told us we should have been in a different cabin.

Comment: We had a RV site, and we LOVED IT! Bathrooms super clean , staff great, and a cool store with most things. Clean camp grounds, time of a lifetime! Beautiful sunsets, nice people in campgrounds.

Comment: My family and I took a spontaneous trip up to Kansas to visit one of our friends and we stayed at the Acorn Resort. The cabins were extremely clean and the Resort grounds were immaculate! This was definitely a highlight of our travels this year! My son and nephew had a blast swimming on the beaches and canoeing! The restaurant has AMAZING Margaritas and the food was amazing as well! I thought for a restaurant being inside the Resort we would pay through the nose… but I was wrong! The prices are extremely reasonable and I would eat here if I was a local. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience!
