Comment: The ride is great and the view is excellent also really enjoyed the island. I would rate it higher but i had to wait for 2 hours to be able to board. My being a novice was definitely a setback. So do your research.it is better than the fashion ferry they told me there I couldn’t board because I didn’t have enough clearance between the muffler of my truck and the ground I still hav not made sense of that I was to tired to try and argue it

Comment: Pierce County does not know what the heck they are doing. The crew that run it are great, but the management by the county is pure garbage. Numerous boat break downs, creating a commuters nightmare. Holidays schedule is always whack, the Tuesday before the 4th, it took me FOUR HOURS to get home. The tourists that have no clue how to buy tickets make it a complete nightmare for full time residents. Summer hrs plan on arriving an hour early, but you still might not make it on the boat, if the boat is even running. GARBAGE!

Comment: It was a really nice experience. Friendly staff. If taking your vehicle, get there early (30-45 minutes before departure time) and purchase tickets in advance (through the app is best) as lines fill up fast.

Comment: Such a quick trip to an amazing destination. Couldn’t have asked for better weather. We can’t wait to go back. Additionally, we learned after buying enough tickets to go out and back, couple hundred bucks worth, that you only need to buy tickets to Anderson Island. Return tickets not needed. Now we know.

Comment: This is a nice short ride. I did see a sign encouraging people to stay in their vehicles which is kind of a bummer because people who don’t go on the ferry often love to get out and enjoy the breezy air. We did get out and look around outside.
