Comment: Great spot to catch the ferry to the Aran Islands! It’s about an hour outside of Galway. You pay about 7 euros to park for the day. You go into the small building and get a parking ticket, then pay when the ferry gets back. Tickets for the ferry you can get online ahead of time, about 30 euros per person there and back. I think you can get a ticket in the visitors’ building as well. The ferry leaves the dock around 10:30 am and leaves Inishmore around 5 pm, arriving back close to 6 pm. It’s about a 40-minute ferry ride.
