I had the pleasure of taking a ferry ride from the ATN Orth/Donau ferry pier to Haslau and it was an experience that I would recommend to anyone.
The ride itself was incredibly relaxing. The gentle rocking of the ferry and the sound of the water create an atmosphere of peace and serenity that is rarely found.
The highlight of the trip was definitely the opportunity to enjoy coffee and sweets on the upper deck. There is something magical about sipping a hot coffee and enjoying a piece of cake while watching the beautiful scenery go by.
The view from the ferry is breathtaking. The views of the water and the surrounding landscape are simply incomparable. It’s the perfect place to take photos or just enjoy the beauty of nature.
The ferry pier itself is well organized and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They made sure the trip went smoothly and were always there to answer questions or offer assistance.
Overall, my ferry ride from the ATN Orth/Donau ferry pier to Haslau was a wonderful experience. It’s a unique way to experience the beauty of the Danube and I can’t wait to do it again.

Comment: Super nice ferryman who knows good bike routes from Haslau.
The price for a crossing including a bike is reasonable at €4.50.
The short view of the Danube is very, very nice and can only be recommended.

Comment: Great hitchhiker option to get from Orth to the other bank of the Danube, Haslau, either to continue cycling/hiking or to continue the trip with the express train. The ferry service leaves every 15 minutes. There are also many other options available, such as tours, group trips to Vienna or Bratislava, a small restaurant on the upper deck. Nice atmosphere, cheap prices.

Comment: The bike ferry is a total rip off. You are dropped off on the right side in the boy and pay twice as much as on other ferries.
