Comment: OK, I heard of so many nightmares, yet it was fantastic. The room (balcony room) was really comfortable, clean and no noise, I slept a good 8 hours.
I got dinner (pretty basic) and had to pay for very basic offerings for breakfast.
The ride was really calm. I took my motorcycle and arrived at 6pm (8pm departure) it was only 30 minutes and was on boat with all my gear.
Went up escalator to reception, left my license as deposit for TV remote and room key and was escorted to my room.
Getting off the boat only took 30-45 minutes after we stopped too!
We are all off the boat by 11.30am after arriving around 11am.
The boat was not full, so maybe I was lucky. But I had a great experience!

Comment: Great trip. You can travel night time to Mazatlán or evening to Topolobampo. Make sure to bring cash for the Frontier Tax (if bringing a car). In the marina you’ll find a cafeteria and souvenir shops. At the ferry you will have cinema (people without cabin also sleep here) , free dinner with your ticket. And a complimentary coffee and bread in the morning or breakfast with extra cost. They have a bar inside (alcohol and snacks).
To reserve use WhatsApp early in the morning they will answer faster. Excellent service.

Comment: I heard so many horror stories about this ferry but I had a great trip. No, a title is not needed for your vehicle, registration is fine. There is a place to take care of this at the port.

Comment: Here Comes That Sinking Feeling. Actually the company has substantially improved it’s service quality without missing a beat related to price increases. The boarding process in Mazatlan is still a circus, but staff is generally helpful. On a recent crossing I had an excellent interior cabin with spotless bath. The food is nothing to tweet home about.

Comment: Everyone was super nice and helpful…it was definitely a bit pricey….I got a dog friendly cabin and it came up to over $200 but a small price to pay to have her by my side….also NOTE: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH!!! And they have no ATM’s so if you want some drinks or food other than the included dinner you will be S.O.L…..other wise the experience was great!
