Comment: Taking ferry ⛴️ from Ibiza to Barcelona for 9 hrs was ok with what you paid. It was a bit cold in the room. Good seats ! But the staffs at food point didn’t care they just kept talking to each other and we needed to wait until they finished talking!

Comment: I’ve been on one of their ferries on Wednesday August 14th 2024, and we left Ibiza port at 9.45am on our way to Formentera.
Yes, everyone knows what happened over there on August 14th, a huge thunderstorm hit Formentera and the nearby area and it has been shown on all the news programmes, in Spain, Italy etc.
Yes, despite this and despite the thunderstorm has been forecasted since 2 days, Baleària let us onboard and cross the sea in those conditions.
It has been one of the worst hour in my entire life, the trip has been a REAL nightmare.
We found ourselves in the middle of the thunderstorm off Formentera’s coast. Formentera’s port has been closed, not letting the ferry boat dock and leaving us in the mercy of waves of at least 3/4 meters.
My fiance and I – and everybody on the ferry, actually – were very sick, vomiting, screaming like crazy and having panic attacks. The situation was totally out of control.
The staff only helped giving bags for seasickness and saying “if you have your earphones listen to the music, it will be better than focusing on what it’s happening”.
It was scary to say the least, I thought I would die.
When finally they let us docking (the trip lasted at least double of the normal time) our entire day has been ruined.
I have lost count of how many times we have vomited. We were shocked as well.
We had to cancel some reservations because of the uneasiness we had to face: we have been sick for two days, we had to check with the doctor and so on.
Since the storm has been forecasted and Baleària MUST know the weather and the sea conditions, everything could have been avoided.
We are trying to contact BALEÀRIA about these since days and nobody is answering.
This is absolutely disgusting.

Comment: If your cruise ship ports here be advised it’s too far from the town to walk. Hope you can find a shuttle or better yet, Virgin Voyages provided one! Thanks Mr. Branson!

Comment: Would recommend travelling in the VIP class on Eleanor Roosevelt. Very friendly staff in lounge. Comfortable reclining seats with great views. The coffee and croissant delicious and free. Our next journey will definitely be in this quiet lounge, well worth the little extra cost. Ibiza port facilities ok, as was boarding of car .

Comment: Great trip with amazing ocean views. Insides were spacious and had shops and small cafeteria. You could order coffee, warm food, dessert and some snacks. Chairs were comfortable to take a small nap. Toilet was a tad bit small but overall a great experience.
