Comment: At first I thought the ferry was a little pricey. But now that I consider how majestic the scenery is on the boat ride. Paired with the high level of service that the crew provides, I’m going to have to say… it’s actually a great deal. Totally worth the price, to see Vancouver Island. Absolutely surreal.

Comment: We pre-booked the 6:30am sailing on a Friday and arrived early as required, everything went well. The ferry was spacious and provided great views of the sun rising over the mainland. As a bonus we passed 2 humpback whales! Definitely recommend going up top for the journey if the weather is suitable.

Comment: Plan ahead. The ferry typically runs 20- 30 minutes late and if you plan to put your car on, you’ll need to arrive extra early.
They have an elevator and bike storage near the entrance to deck 2.
Smooth ride with excellent views.

Comment: The price of a fierry boat with two person including our vehicle to Bowen Island was affordable. The ride to and from the island was trouble free with some waiting before and after every ride which is not that long. The Queen of Capillano cargo boat was not that bad considering it was on operation since 1991.

Comment: Make reservations people!! Arrived at 1230pm for the 1:40 ferry. Sitting in line waiting to get to the pay station. 1:40 pm sold out. Car didn’t move. Made friends who thank goodness had beverages. Now we are learning that 400 is sold out and we have a 20% chance of making the 600.
