Comment: First, I had a “view” room that did NOT include a view of concrete, rooftops…just beautiful river, geese, fish rising, birds and nature. Awesome!
This was not my first stay, nor will it be my last. The staff is excellent! Friendly, engaging…I feel like when I’m in this hotel, seeing these people are an important part of the visit!
Go to Bonners Ferry! Much to do and to see and the casino is fun too! But always stay HERE!

Comment: We have been on a 45-day road trip Coast to Coast across the USA. This is our last stay of our trip and when we arrived the feeling I had was incredible. The beautiful River and the mountains backdrop with the wildlife and waterfowl made me feel very calm and peaceful. We were also very tired from our trip and they had room service. The room service is from the restaurant inside the hotel and the food is delicious. The food is pricey, but it is worth it. The deck is facing the river and it is very nice. It reminds me of a cruise that we took around Australia where we had room service and a balcony to overlook the ocean. Needless to say we decided to stay two nights instead of one and we are very happy we did. There’s also a wildlife refuge close by that you can drive through which is fantastic. I saw my first owl in the wild and that was super cool. The little downtown has some cool shopping and restaurants, but we didn’t stop by. Back to the hotel… we did not use the casino because we do not gamble. We did use the restaurant for the complimentary breakfast and it was very good. The rooms are updated and designed very well. The water pressure is good and the air conditioner works well. There is a train that goes by but I put in ear plugs and didn’t notice it while I was sleeping. Best of all, the entire hotel is smoke-free and that includes the balconies or decks. That makes it really nice for sitting out and enjoying the fresh air and I really appreciate this hotel for making that policy. The beds are too firm for me and it makes my back stiff and ache, but the swimming pool and the hot tub is very nice and that helps with the achy back. I want to come back here every year and I hope the beds get softer!

Comment: The rooms are large but the beds are so uncomfortable. We are happy we only stayed one night cause my back couldn’t take another. Now that we got the negative out of the way let focus on the positive. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We played a bit in the casino and there is a spot to get free pop. There is also a deli that serves pub type food at very reasonable prices. When you stay you get a voucher for their restaurant for breakfast and you can order anything off the menu. You can sit riverside and enjoy your breakfast. Beautiful and delicious food!

Comment: Recently stayed in a Jacuzzi suite.
Room was clean and Riverview was amazing.
Have to be honest and say that beds are not comfortable and mattress slides around on base so hard to get a great night’s sleep.
A bedding upgrade would be fantastic in near future!

Comment: I had nothing to do for my birthday and saved my points for a free room. I made the reservation drove 45 minutes through road construction only to be told I couldn’t stay because I didn’t have $25 on my debit card. I was never told I need this and never had in the past. I’ve stayed many times and always enjoyed my stays. Needless to say I had a horrible birthday.
