Comment: We managed to bring the date for our return trip forward 2 days, for a £20 fee quite easily. It had been wet and dull for a few days at the end of our 25 day motorhoming trip, so it was terrific to be able to sit out with fresh cold beers in the sunshine on deck for several hours before dusk.
Duty free was quite good, so we got some spirits, to add to the wines we’d already purchased on land for a good price.
We ate a very good meal later, surprisingly good really, and were quite happy when we set off after we arrived punctually on time in Portsmouth (from Caen).

Comment: It was ok I suppose. The only complaint I have is the WiFi and I tried to explain the French information desk that there was a problem and she said that there wasn’t and I work in IT.. it was hilarious and I think I upset her oops . The kids entertainment was cringeworthy and I had to control myself as I couldn’t believe it as in reps with zero charisma entertaining kids who would rather go on their iPad

Comment: Best way to go back to England with car and dogs. There are pet friendly cabins which makes it much easier to cross the channel stress free. On the boat there is a good restaurant, cinema and other entertainment. There’s also lovely views to look at from the bridge
