Comment: 45 minute ferry ride to Cumberland Island. You can sit inside or out. Or you can climb the ladder to the top deck. They do sell water and snacks. Friendly greeting when boarding.

Comment: Cumberland Island is a must see Georgia destination. The island is very walkable and if ya can stay over night – the ruins are magical at sunset. Our trip started off with meeting the friendly crew of the Cumberland Queen Ferry. They were generous with helping campers load and unload gear to and from the Ferry. It was easy to see that they loved what they do and being with the people they took over to the island.

Comment: The ride was fine… The people for the boat ride were grumpy. Seemed like they needed a vacation or SOMETHING. Also St. Mary’s as a whole… Not a great town… Not worth doing again. Experience was very mid at best. At least we got to see wild horses on the island.

Comment: Beware the gnats!!!! Got eaten alive. Wild horses everywhere, beautiful ruins and trees and a lovely beach. You should pack a lunch (nowhere to eat), wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty to drink.

Comment: I don’t recommend the Land and LEGACIES TOUr. If you are the unfortunate tourist that get shoved into the very back of the van, you won’t be able to see the sites nor hear the tour guide. The seats are not ment for adults. Extremely uncomfortable to ride for 6 hours crammed in the back row. Beside being very uncomfortable we missed out on the majority of the tour because we couldn’t see or hear. I contacted the owner to make a suggestion and to let him know our grievances and he dismissed me and said he was “out on a boat, Email me, Bye.”
