Comment: I had a great trip to Frederikshavn from Oslo starting with public transport that literally drops you off at the door of the terminal. Onboard everyone was friendly. The internet worked great. Seating and baggage storage was great. The 7 Seas restaurant was really good and service was terrific. The outdoor decks are great too. I thought 9 or 10 hours on a ferry would be boring. Not at all. I would definitely travel this way again.

Relaxing way to get to Copenhagen with kids. Slightly better CO2 footprint than flying (199 g_CO2/person kilometer vs ca. 280). A bit less commercial vibes than eg. Kiel Ferry (feels less like a cruise but actually a Ferry).
Check-in:
If you don’t come by car, don’t come too early as the rooms are not ready until 15min prior to departure. Café, bobble zone and playroom are open.
Outdoor pool:
Open in summer Months from 7-22hrs
Tip: purchase 24hr WiFi package, the mobile reception on board is quite poor. Bring water bottles or purchase in the tax free shop.
No meals need to be pre-booked. Little Italy pizza restaurant will do for most families (reserve your spot in the queue – ask the staff).

Comment: Very bad experience, cruise departed at 15:00, however at 14:42 the rooms still weren’t open and a group of people documented the crowded halls.The 7th floor buffet was average, didn’t offer any drinks and required you to buy them separately.

Comment: The staff was very helpful by providing a wheelchair, which we needed at the time. No hassle in boarding the ferry and easily accessible.
