Comment: Decent working ferry terminal, facilities after check in including Burger King, Costs, motorway style shop and toilet. Outside seats to wait and watch boats. Info on wait times and security could be better.

Comment: I recently traveled through Dover Ferry Terminal, arriving early and experiencing a seamless process through customs and check-in, which was a pleasant surprise. The terminal staff were efficient, particularly the French customs who responded with one word answers closing with a short sharp “Bye” when handing our passports back. The whole thing made the initial stages of my journey stress-free.
The facilities at the terminal look quite old and tired, with visible wear and tear that could use attention. It was almost impossible to tell which check in gates were for P&O due to how faded the signs were! The toilets also very tired. The dog excersize area however was fantastic!
In terms of food and drink options, the selection was quite limited. There were only a Costa Coffee, WHSmith, and a Burger King available, so consider this for potentially long waits for your ferry.

Comment: One thing I really have to bring up here is HOW EXPENSIVE THE DRINK/FOODS ARE. The cafe was closed so I had to go to a different place on the ferry to get it. The hot chocolate was £4. Four pounds for a small burning hot chocolate. The seats were dirty, but the wifi is good, some areas like outside you loose connection. You can’t call people on the ferry, and it’s very crowded barely any place to sit. Only came cause I was forced.

They are really professional and inside of the ferry is so clean. Lots of facilities that you can use.
TV, coffee ☕️, view, helpful staff.
