Comment: Took this free trip across the water to experience another section of the Cabot Trail. We arrived just in time to be the last car on but if we had missed it, we wouldn’t have had to wait very long. It’s a really short ride and they load and unload the boat quickly. Cool to see the ferry just pulls itself back and forth across the channel – there’s a rope attached to either shore that the ferry uses to keep it on the same path every time. The drive is also amazing so check it out.

Comment: We enjoyed the ride on the ferry. It gets you across to the other side without as much driving. It only takes at most 10 minutes and it holds 15 cars at once. It’s free! They even have an eagle that perches on the flag pole!

Comment: Okay this was a very unexpected ferry trip for us. It was absolutely fantastic! I can say without a doubt that it was the shortest fairy trip I’ve ever taken! Whoever is funding this, don’t stop!
